Stills

 It's been another busy week.
Sorry, I hate that phrase. Despite the fact it's true, it sounds like you're blowing the self-pity trumpet all the time, but it really was busy. Promise.
Whilst the week flashed by, I managed to slow the pace and capture a few magically mundane moments.

1. Buz having a MJ moment.
2. Rain. precious rain…..and then, a double rainbow.
3. Lulu with a sad and sore goanna.
4. I just love the organic features of pottery.
5. Pop's bird house
6. Bear and Taffy
7. Camomile and stone
8. Jim
9. "Sebastian" the frog that found his way into my bedroom
10. Paul teaching the boys how to use the brush cutter. we used to call it the "whipper snipper" as kids, what about you?
11. A friendly pony up the road
12. My first blue/purple iris
13. My neighbours stone wall. love it.

And that's it folks. I have an exhibition coming up which has taken a large chuck of time this week. Will post on it tomorrow.
Have a fabulous weekend.

Love Liv x

  2. Really enjoyed these, goanna brought a smile and Dad teaching the boys. I thought the brushcutter was a different machine to the whipper snipper, tougher blade thingy for cutting through brush more for bush work whereas the whipper snipper is more for trimming regular gardens.

    1. After much discussion with Paul, he said "she's right, we used to use the brush cutter on the farm, ours is a whipper snipper, I'm just used to calling it the other"
      *settled!

  3. Beautiful images Liv. Thought the little frog looked more sore and sorry than the goanna!
All the best with the exhibition, look forward to hearing all about it.

    1. Thanks Fi, I'll post some images this week.
The little frog was a little sad too, he was covered in carpet and crying for a little pond!

What a pity you don't live in the southern hemisphere Nicole, you could have joined the exhibition :(

    2. Oh my gosh I'd love to. And I would if Olivia would fall asleep without me... last time we tried that she screamed for 3 hours and was dozing off as I walked in the door (after a panicked text from the Hubby lol) always the way. tell me one day they sleep on their own...?!

  7. having a post catch up over here, haven't you indeed been busy :) Gosh your part of the world is pretty.
    1. Can you send your dad up here? LOVE what he's done, your studio is BRILLIANT! Love the corrugated iron and the handrail from the tree branch! MORE PICS PLEASE.
    2. I am not sure if they are sold online, but your dad could probably make one - cattle yards out of dowel and ply wood as a base. Trevor made our boy a set (but just quietly they aren't as good as the other sets I've seen made, he was in a rush and ran out of materials) Try googling it. They slide neatly under beds or you can easily add a little set of castors underneath.

    1. Yes Sharon, I'd love one of those slide under bed things for all the lego, bc it takes them forever to build the damn things and then they break in the box!
As for handy man dad…I'd share him if you lived closer xo

    2. great minds think alike, I was just hinting to my husband about the ply thing under the bed for lego as well....in all reality I could make it myself if I could get the ply cut to size before hand!!

  8. ps whipper snipper all the way up here. Brush cutters are the super heavy duty ones, only one step removed from a chainsaw (in my world anyhow!)

  9. Carbon Copy they are!
We tried a leash too but they bite through it. they can still wiggle out of these too. A bit silly really, but the only way the kids can really interact with them without bringing them into the house (i allowed that for a bit, but the poo nearly drove me to drastic measures!)
